The Bluedog BWS-120-HD Industrial Wire Stripping Machine is a heavy-duty, high-capacity cable stripper engineered for scrap yards, metal recyclers, cable processors, electrical contractors and industrial recycling operations.

Capable of processing everything from 14 GA wire up to massive 5-inch (120 mm) diameter cable, the BWS-120-HD features an innovative 3-Way Stripping Design that gives operators three different methods of stripping cable—all in one industrial machine.

Three Stripping Systems — One Heavy-Duty Machine

Different cables require different stripping methods. Instead of forcing every cable through the same blade configuration, the BWS-120-HD provides three dedicated stripping ports, allowing the operator to choose the best method for the cable being processed.

Left-Hand Port — Blade-Less Stripping

The left-hand port features a highly useful blade-less stripping system designed for Romex and light-gauge insulated wire.

This allows many smaller cables to be processed without conventional cutting blades, making it an extremely handy feature for recycling operations processing mixed loads of smaller electrical wire.

Middle Port — Heavy-Duty Dual-Blade Stripping

This is where the BWS-120-HD earns its Heavy Duty designation.

The middle stripping port is specifically designed for large, thick and difficult-to-strip industrial cable. It features cutting blades on both the top and bottom, allowing heavy cable jackets to be cut from two sides.

Need a deeper cut?

The feed rollers can be widened and adjusted, allowing the blades to penetrate deeper into thick insulation. This gives operators greater control when processing some of the toughest and most heavily insulated industrial cables.

Right-Hand Port — Large Rotary Blade Stripping

The right-hand port features a large round rotary cutting blade designed for processing standard insulated cable.

This provides an efficient stripping solution for many of the conventional copper and aluminum cables processed every day by scrap yards and cable recycling operations.

For smaller-gauge wire, tube inserts provide additional guidance and support.
